A former air stewardess has told of bizarre online requests for her to sell her uniform – including unwashed tights and used shoes.
Bristol Live revealed earlier today that various used cabin crew outfits are available on eBay, many of them attracting dozens of bidders.
The items, many of are sold from Bristol, are advertised as “well-worn”, but unusually for second-hand items, they attract big offers.
We spoke to one seller in Bath, who is offering an easyJet uniform for at least £70 on the online marketplace. The outfit is new, except for the skirt which is used.

Asked what she knows about her customers, she replied: "Personally, judging from the messages I have received enquiring about the crew uniform and items I have had up for sale, it is for collections or memorabilia.
"However there has also been a few unusual questions, for example when selling new, unworn crew shoes, people have messaged asking if I had any used crew shoes and if I would be willing to sell my unwashed tights."
The woman described these messages as "quite strange".
One example of such items going for high sums on eBay is a pair of “very worn and tired cabin crew shoes" which have drawn 12 offers.
The latest of those is £33, and there are still two days of bidding to go.

The uniforms on sale bear the names of brands including British Airways, easyJet and Airtours.
