‘I want to scream!’ Taylor Swift fans fume as Eras Tour ticket system appears to freeze AGAIN

Taylor Swift fans have been left fuming after a website halted the sale of highly anticipated concert tickets to her Eras Tour.

The general sale for the singer’s concert tickets kicked off at 11am on Monday for London and Edinburgh 2024 dates - but like last week’s presale, the website suddenly paused sales.

Swift’s fans slammed the AXS ticket website after it failed to allow unique access code holders into the “waiting room” and paused the queue.

The few who managed to get through the queue revealed that the platform “flagged me as a bot” or stated “there are no seats available”.

Fans took to Twitter to share their frustration. “The queue is paused and I want to SCREAM”, one wrote.

Another posted a screenshot of the ticket selling display informing the buyer: “We’re sorry... This page could not be served”.

Some fans, however, said they managed to get a ticket, but only had the option to buy a VIP package, which cost them between £195 and £667.

While the registration period for The Eras tour tickets ended on Monday, “Swifties” who registered for access to the general sale will be in with a chance to buy tickets.

Not everyone who registered was successful, though — a  “limited number” got a code, while everyone else was placed on a waitlist.

This was done in order to prevent the websites crashing from excessive demand, but it seems to have made no difference as it already appears to have descended into chaos.

The Eras tour is set to come across the Atlantic next summer. Anyone who manages to beat the disruption and get through to selecting seats and tickets will be allowed to purchase a maximum of four tickets.

This limit has been put in place to give as many fans as possible a chance at going, while trying to stop ticket touts from buying loads only to then sell them on at extortionate prices.

Groups of more than four will need to have multiple people purchasing tickets – though demand is, of course, extremely high to see the Enchanted singer so those in charge of buying tickets will have to have their eyes on the prize and operate fast.

Swift is well into her stride on the tour and is set to play 115 concerts. She began in March of this year and will finish next August.

Here’s a full list of her UK venues and 2024 dates:

Friday, June 21 — London, Wembley Stadium

Saturday, June 22 — London, Wembley Stadium

Friday, July 7 — Edinburgh, BT Murrayfield Stadium

Saturday, July 8 — Edinburgh, BT Murrayfield Stadium

Friday, July 14— Liverpool, Anfield Stadium

Tuesday, July 18 — Cardiff, Principality Stadium

Thursday, August 15 — London, Wembley Stadium

Friday, August 16 — London, Wembley Stadium

Swift started the US dates of her tour in March. Forbes estimated it would pull in $1.9 billion (£1.5 billion) in ticket sales and merchandise.
