Lothar Matthaus reckons Bayern Munich produced the most toothless display in living memory after the shot-shy side claimed a draw ahead of their showdown with Celtic.
Bayern will protect a 2-1 lead in the second leg at the Allianz Arena this week in the Champions League play-ofs.
But they were slaughtered in Germany for producing almost nothing in an attacking sense as they clung on to gain a goalless draw at champions Bayer Leverkusen and maintain an eight point lead at the top of the lead.
They failed to manage a shot on target and were battered 16-2 on total shots but held firm for a vital point.

And German legend turned TV pundit Matthaus was stunned at their display.
He said: "I've never seen anything like it in my life from a Bayern Munich team.
"They didn't have a single chance to score.
"But despite that, they will be very satisfied because they got the result they came for.
"Bayer Leverkusen had previously scored plenty of goals from the positions they got into but they had no luck out there.
"But having said that - that's the result that will win Bayern the title.
"Bayern Munich 'won' 0-0. And that's the end of the Bundesliga race."
