'I used to be bullied for how I looked - now I earn £37,000 a month on OnlyFans'

A mum who says she used to be bullied about her appearance now claims to make up to £37,000 a month by selling raunchy content on OnlyFans.

Jessica Carter, from Peak District town Bakewell, quit her job as a personal trainer during the pandemic and now earns enough to support her nine-year-old daughter, partner and family financially. The 33-year-old also now lives in a four-bedroom house with 11 acres of land and owns a BMW X4 M Competition car, DerbyshireLive reports.

Jessica describes joining the subscription-based website as "absolutely the best decision" she has ever made, and believes she now has a "wonderful future" to look forward to. She said: "OnlyFans has provided me with opportunities that I could never have imagined.

"There are girls making so much more than me too which is inspiring. I’m without doubt going to push myself every day to earn more and more and to help demolish the stigma that comes with the word OnlyFans!

"A common misconception about OnlyFans girls is that we meet people (general public) for sex. I’m sure there are creators that do this which is good for them, I’m fully supportive of their career and that decision, but for me any many others in the industry we strictly stick to other highly recommended, professional and fully certified content creators and performers. It’s so important in my eyes that we spread the knowledge that we work so safely in this industry in hopes that the future of the sex industry loses the stigmas and the stereotypes that it has developed over the last many many years gone by."

Jessica says she has "never felt uncomfortable" in her job as she is selective with who she works with but she has encountered some problems with both banks and hotels since joining OnlyFans in 2020. She explained: "With this stigma also comes an array of barriers, all generally stemming from the recently developing ‘cancel culture’. I feel my job is three times harder than it needs to be because of this.

"I have had two business bank accounts closed down and have been refused a business bank account by two other well-known banks because of the nature of my job. I may add that I am a VAT registered limited company and pay my taxes.

"Hotels have cancelled my personal reservations as they have looked me up on social media, seen that I make porn for a living and have been very blunt in saying that they don’t want me in their establishment - cue Pretty Woman moment.

Jessica Carter splashed out £6,500 on a boob job in 2020 after trolls sent her comments about her 'boy’s chest' (Jessica Carter)

"I have had high-end corporate accountants, that deal with the likes of Love Islanders and footballers, refuse to work for me because they ‘won’t touch anyone in the sex industry’ because their reputation could be destroyed as a company.

"These struggles on a daily basis mean I have to put in so many more hours into my day just to try to lay my taxes and to stay legal and legitimate which is absurd! They make it difficult for us to do the right thing but still the media and the public frown upon us in the industry as ‘sluts’ or we get constant hate in the form of social media comments like ‘get a real job’."

Jessica previously spoke out about the struggles she faced before deciding to splash out £6,500 on a boob job. She says trolls sent her comments about her “boy’s chest”, which left her with “very low self-esteem”, the Daily Star reports.

Jessica told Fabulous : "I’ve always had very low self-esteem, because of years of being bullied about my appearance… At 5ft 11ins, I was always tall, thin and straight up and down. My boobs weren’t the main focus of why I was picked on, but I think that was part of it."
