Celtic defender Auston Trusty has expressed confidence that his team can shock Bayern Munich when the Bundesliga giants arrive at Parkhead in the UEFA Champions League this Wednesday.
The Hoops will host the German heavyweights in the first leg of the knockout stage play-offs, coming off a strong run in which they scored 14 goals in their last three matches. While, they have also received a welcome boost 48 hours before the tie after successfully appealing a suspension that would've seen man of the moment Daizen Maeda miss this crucial home fixture.
"I think we are all really excited. It's a great opportunity for the club and also us individually, and it's one us as a collective have to take advantage of and play our game," Trusty explained.
"We need to go into it with the same mentality that we've had. I think it's just the Celtic way in how we approach things. From when I first walked into the door you could immediately feel how the organisation approaches the game and everything in between. So, our mentality is not changing, we are just playing our game."

Trusty previously alluded to the fact that he wasn't concerned whether Celtic were paired with Bayern or Real Madrid in the play-offs, and he's sticking with his mantra that the Scottish Premiership leaders can beat anyone on their day.
"100 per cent, I back this team with everything," the Hoops centre-back said. "I think when we are on it and we play our game with the right mindset as a collective then I would truly back us against anybody. So, it's up to us."
