There comes a time in life when you start getting excited about different things.
One minute you're a happy go lucky teenager without a care in the world, the next you're discussing air fryers, heated airers and vacuum cleaners.
But in the day-to-day running of things, these are a big deal - especially those that actually make our lives easier.

Having heard people raving about the Shark anti-hair wrap cordless vacuum cleaner, I had to find out what all the fuss is about.
It's got five star reviews on most of the sites you look at, including AO, where one customer said: "Excellent bit of kit, really light and really good suction, Even picks up all the hair from my big hairy dog, this is the only vacuum that I have had that does this, and it does it very well indeed, would definitely recommend."
With a big hairy dog myself, I know all about that, so I was excited to get this thing on the move.
First things first and it's really simple to use and charge. It came partly charged straight from the box so I was whizzing it over the floors in no time.
The fact that it's so lightweight - with no cord getting in the way - means you can do that at speed. No more moaning from the kids that the 'hoover' is too heavy for them, that excuse won't wash with this. Plus you get 40 minutes run time from a single charge, so they really do have no escape.
It also means it's easier than ever to do the stairs, with a handy little tool for those tricky corners, as well as carrying it up and down the stairs to do different floors.
The anti-hair wrap feature is definitely one of its selling points, no more pulling at hair strands when the brush gets clogged, and I got particularly excited pulling the handy trigger for the boost function which provides extra suction power.
But for me, the best bit is its flexible design - it actually BENDS. With a simple touch of a button, the stick bends so that you can get to all those hard to reach places that don't see the light of day.
I was quite ashamed by how much dog hair was lingering in places our other vacuum simply can't reach.
It's actually quite small for something so powerful so can easily be stored too.
Is it worthy of the hype? I'd say so. But with them being reduced for Black Friday, you might just have to move quickly to get your hands on one.
The Shark Anti-Hair Wrap IZ202UK Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is reduced to £189 at AO. It's also on sale at Amazon, Currys, Argos, Very and Shark direct.
