The makeup artist of ex-Corrie actress Michelle Keegan has revealed the affordable moisturiser she uses on all of her clients. And it only costs less than £15.
And as 34-year-old Michelle’s skin is always glowing, I wanted in on the skincare secret.
MUA Emily Clarkson told The Mirror that the one product she uses on all of her celebs, such as Perrie Edwards and Nina Nesbitt, is the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré Moisturiser.

Costing £13 for 30ml, or £20 for a larger version, the moisturiser reportedly sells one tube every 13 seconds - and I quickly became a contributor to that statistic, snapping one up on the Boots website.
The French skincare stable is described as ‘a cult favourite since the 1950s’, and is more than just a moisturiser, but also works as a primer, makeup remover and after-shave cream.
The six-in-one multitasking cream can even be used as a repair mask and a baby-care product.
I’m well aware that £13 might seem expensive to some, particularly for just 30ml if you’re used to heading straight for the likes of Simple or Boots own brand.
However, a tiny amount of product goes a long way. But you’ll end up using it so often that it won’t end up gathering dust in the cupboard and going out of date before you can finish it.
Another benefit is the fact that you only need space on your bathroom shelf for one product, rather than six. And the price then feels extremely affordable for the amount of work that it does, saving you around £65 if you had to buy six products to do each individual beauty chore.

I found the moisturiser's consistency to be relatively thin, making it easy to spread around my face after cleansing. It felt very satiny without leaving any greasy residue on my face, but a healthy sheen where it was needed.
It’s even said to be suitable for all skin types and has been dermatologically tested without animal testing.
I found it to make a really positive impact on my dehydrated forehead in particular, and it’s not often you’ll find a ‘one size fits all’ skincare product, but this very much feels like one.
Using it before applying makeup helped my base to go on like a dream, and I even got that sort of ‘glowing from within’ dewy finish that Michelle Keegan is so well known for.
My skin felt hydrated, smoothed and really quite soothed from the cool milk-textured cream, reducing dryness and flaking skin, while offering a flawless base for makeup.
I’ve been using the Lait-Crème Concentré morning and night for around two weeks now, and adore it so much I’ve really stuck to a routine with it. I often find that when I’m not totally in love with a product, I’m much less likely to go through a full routine, and deprive my skin of much needed hydration.
I actually like to use a thicker layer at night for a deeper, more repairing mask that sees ingredients like shea butter, beeswax and aloe vera work overnight.

Other shoppers are just as floored by its results, sharing a string of five star reviews on the Boots website.
One said: “Before using this my skin was red and sore and no amount of moisture made it any better. I tried this and my skin is instantly soothed moisturised and glowing.”
Another added: “Super amazing moisturiser, I started using it after a make up artist recommended it. I use it morning and evening and it’s absolutely amazing, lovely to use as a makeup primer too.”
Other celebs rumoured to use the cream are Lady Gaga, Kristen Stewart, Scarlett Johanssen and The Kardashians.
Another customer added: “I tried this as I had read in various articles that celebrities like Kendal Jenner (who used to have bad skin) swear by it.
“I’ve always suffered from redness and dry eye areas. Certain creams also make me break out. This cream has given me the best skin I have ever had.”
A one-size-fits-all, multifunctioning moisturiser that’s well worth its £13 price tag, the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré Moisturiser has totally transformed my skin and hopefully one day I’ll wake up looking like Michelle Keegan.
