After moving to a new home with all wooden floors, it quickly became apparent why I'd been a fan of carpets in the first place. That said, I always hated how often you'd have to pull out the vacuum cleaner and go over the carpets.
I wanted an easier solution and I think with Ruggable I've managed to find it.

Ruggable has a wide range of styles to choose from, and with how easy it is to switch patterns you could even have a secret stash of rug covers that can transform a room in seconds. I opted to try out the Nina Takesh Loire Ivory Quartz Rug as I was drawn in by the simple design that suits my personal home decor tastes.
Placing the rug in my home office, I quickly started to set it up. Typically whenever I've had a rug it has been all one piece, but that's not the case with Ruggable.
You can choose between Classic and Cushioned, I went for the Cushioned Rug Pad, which the brand suggests for indoor use only and advises for placement when "doing dishes, beneath tiny toes or anywhere else that needs extra cushion.
If you're tempted to get an outdoor rug then the Classic is the best choice with it being 'best for under doorways, beneath rolling furniture and outdoor spaces'.
The rug comes with clear instructions on how to set it up, and I quickly got to action rolling the base out across my office floor.
Then it's easy enough to add your design, your unroll the top layer and hook the corners around the mat. There's small triangles that can easily hook onto the mat which transforms it from plain and comfortable to effortlessly chic in about 45 seconds.
This is ideal for when you want to transform a room without forking out for an entire new rug, you can just opt for another cover.
Ruggable has easy machine washing options for their rug covers, making it really easy to enjoy a freshly cleaned rug regularly. Each rug is made from polyester with a polyurethane water-resistant barrier which means you don't have to worry about stains seeping through.
The covers themselves are quite thin, only 0.3cm thick, and are consciously made to order in order to reduce waste.
It's a really easy way to keep your home stylish and stay up with the latest trends, you can even get a rug with your fandom in mind with Marvel and Disney designs being available on the website.
I'm thrilled with my rug and find that having something breaking up the room from standard floorboards gives my mood a boost, you can shop the site here.
