It’s quite difficult to imagine Holly Willoughby carrying a bag full of dog poo - but it’s something all responsible pet owners have to do. It’s possibly the least glamorous part of being a dog mum, so you’ve got to make it as stylish as possible, right?
I’m a big fan of a colourful poo bag for starters, and always opt for Adios Plastic waste bags, which are totally plastic free, compostable, and come in a rainbow of colours.
But there’s one brand on a real mission to the dog walking fashion game, and they’ve even appeared on ITV’s This Morning, with Holly having her own personalised set for golden retriever pup Bailey.

Sbri, which means ‘fun’ in Welsh, is an independent brand specialising in gorgeous sustainable leather goods for both human and hound. They design and make a number of handbags, coin holders, purses, belts and journals, as well as pet collars and accessories like poo bag holders and treat pouches.
In December 2021, the brand was featured on This Morning during a pet gift guide segment with Alice Beer and her dog, Stanley. She told Phil and Holly: “They do lots of lovely personalised poo bag and treat holders. Basically you use these things all day every day so you might as well have nice ones. They’re your accessories.”
Holly admired the navy blue poo bag dispenser adorned with the name Bailey, and said they’re ‘really nice’.
The brand’s founder Emily Carr took to social media to share her delight at being featured, writing: “Yep, that's @hollywilloughby with our pet accessories on ITV's @thismorning. No biggie. The whole of Team Sbri are still buzzing, did anyone spot us on TV? What a big day for our little brand. Thanks to @thisisalicebeer and the team at ITV for including us in the pet gifts feature, it's been the highlight of the month.”
And like Alice says - they’re items that owners have to use every single day, so you might as well invest in something stylish, modern and most importantly, independent.
I got a treat pouch and a poo bag holder, which come in at £26 each, and are made from sustainably sourced leather in their New Forest studio, and include complimentary personalisation.
The accessories are available in 10 leather colourways, including blush, fuchsia, mint, orange, navy and one of my personal favourites, leopard print. When ordering, you can add what you’d like the bags to be personalised with, and some products have even more options to choose from. For example the collars see customers pick two different colours alongside personalisation, with more than 50 combinations to choose from to see your pup stand out from the crowd.
Emily added: “Working with natural materials means each piece we make is completely unique. We hand-draw our designs in house, then carefully print them onto beautiful British leather. And because we’re made to order, it’s up to you to add the finishing touches
“Our contemporary designs are created using traditional techniques to help you mark and celebrate life’s moments - big, small or simply because.”
I decided to get an orange leather poop bag holder with the personalisation ‘Frank’. The shade is really vibrant and it looks really discreet and fashionable when clipped onto a bag. A roll fits really comfortably into the holder, with a slit in the bottom to allow you to pull out one bag at a time.
Carrying poo bags is the number one rule of pet ownership, and I love this pouch so much that it’s always the first thing I check I have with me. I even find myself offering out poo bags to other dog walkers just so I can show it off. Not only that, but because my poo bags are all in one place, I never end up pulling them out of jacket pockets weeks later or accidentally putting them in the washing machine in my jeans, either.
The solid brass lobster clasp attachment means it can easily clip to your keys, lead or belt loop if you don’t have a bag like mine.
The leather treat pouch is the one my dogs are more interested in than me, also priced at £26. This time I got the leopard print and personalised it with Phoebe’s name. The clever origami design is seamless with no need for stitching and is held tight by a secure popper. The craftsmanship is stunning and really impressed my ex-cobbler dad, who is very particular about his leather.
The pouch is small but fits a substantial amount of treats inside, plenty for a long walk with two big dogs, and means you won’t end up with crumbs in your own coat pocket or in the bottom of your handbag.
Not only is it ideal for walks, but also for training at home too because you can attach it to your belt loop ready for practising tricks or recall.
I love how stylish these are, and I’m even looking at getting myself one of their handbags because they seem to just go with everything. The free personalisation makes them really unique, and the execution of the designs is second to none. All that’s left to ask is who wants to go walkies?
