Foot lotions are ideal for reviving feet after a long day or for getting summer footwear ready by curing any dry patches.
I personally like to use foot lotion in the evening to soothe my feet after being out and about all day. There are a variety of foot products out there, but Lush’s Pink Peppermint Foot Lotion is the only one I’ve used so far that has been able to instantly cool and ease the pain.
When I visited my local Lush store recently, I was given a small tester pot containing the peppermint product which is described as “cooling and soothing”. That night when I removed the lid, I instantly fell in love. The foot lotion is a bubblegum pink colour that looked refreshing, and the peppermint smell was incredible. I couldn’t wait to massage it all over my feet.

The consistency of the lotion is quite thin compared to other foot lotions I’ve used in the past, but I personally liked this, as thicker products can be super greasy and take a while to soak in. I was amazed at how the Lush lotion provided relief to my feet within seconds.
It absorbed quickly, too, and didn’t leave a sticky or greasy feeling. I was able to pop my socks back on a few minutes later and carry on with the rest of my evening. A couple of hours later when I went up to bed, I couldn’t get over how soft my feet felt. The small dry patch on the back of one of my heels was gone and I could still smell the gorgeous peppermint scent.
I continued to use the tester pot for the rest of the week and remained wowed by the soothing effects and softness of my feet. Before the tester ran out, I visited Lush and bought a big tub of it. Every evening I look forward to applying the foot lotion - it’s become a staple in my bedtime routine and is worth every penny.
