I tried Lush's new 'Co-Mingle' body scrub and it's become my favourite exfoliator

Lush is loved by many for its extensive collection of bath products, cosmetics and more, with many being vegan and “cruelty free”.

The retailer recently launched the ‘Co-Mingle’ body scrub that exfoliates, washes and moisturises the skin. The new product appealed to me for its scent, as it contains calming organic lavender, perfect for using before bed.

I'm usually wary when it comes to using body scrubs and exfoliators, as I find some of them can be too rough on my skin. I was intrigued to try Lush ’s Co-Mingle as it has a “mousse-like texture” with ground tagua nut and bamboo.

I applied a fingertip-size amount of the scrub to each of my wet arms and legs and massaged the product in. I was delighted to find that it wasn’t too rough at all - there was a slight gritty texture, but it was very gentle.

A little goes a long way, which is good considering the body scrub costs £18 a pot (225g). The smell is amazing, and I felt myself relaxing as I massaged in the product. After washing off the scrub, I finished my shower and patted myself dry.

I was impressed with how smooth and soft my skin was straight away, and I noticed the few dry patches on my arms looked much better. I applied Lush’s Sleepy body lotion after my shower before slipping into my pyjamas, and I have to say, the Co-Mingle body scrub and the Sleepy lotion are a match made in heaven.

I’ve been using the Co-Mingle body scrub for two weeks now and it’s become a staple in my shower routine. You can buy it in Lush stores now and online here.
