It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Lush.
When the high street icon, known and loved for its wide array of handmade bath bombs, cruelty free makeup, skincare, shampoos and more, launched its candles, I was hoping its legendary Snow Fairy fragrance would be included in the line-up.
Snow Fairy is a sugarplum, candyfloss, festive fairy of a fragrance and, quite frankly, who wouldn't want their home to smell like that? I'm regularly referred to as the Monica Geller of my friendship group when it comes to my home because I like it to be clean, tidy and organised.

Keeping my house as clean and fresh smelling as I'd like is quite the task, given I'm the owner of the most chaotic and energetic rescue dog in the world. I'm completely besotted with him but we all know dogs are rather smelly, and I certainly don't want my home to smell like dog.
This means I'm forever snapping up scented candles and powerfully fragranced cleaning products to keep any hint or whiff of dog well and truly at bay. When Lush's Snow Fairy candle was released this year, I knew it had to be mine.
The smell of Lush stores is almost as iconic as its bath bombs, with the powerful aroma flooding the entryway and street outside most of its shops. If there's a way to ensure my home smells as delightful Lush, then you better believe I'm giving it a go.
Lush's festive Snow Fairy range is a tradition in many households, with the iconic pink line-up including bath bombs, shower jellies, body conditioners, moisturiser, body sprays and candles. The candle comes in two sizes, a single wick version for £12, and a four wick beauty for £35.
The Snow Fairy candles are, sadly, limited edition but there's four permanent fragrances to choose from; Lord of Misrule (delightfully fresh), Orange Blossom (a gorgeous, fruity concoction that's a firm favourite of mine), The Olive Branch (light and soothing) and Sleepy (an absolute bedside table essential).
Wanting to take advantage of as much Snow Fairy as I can while it lasts, I snapped up the large four wick candle. The candle is made with a natural wax base of rapeseed wax, coconut oil, coconut wax and castor wax.
Like all of Lush's candles, it's palm-free, GM-free, and soy free. It's also 100% vegan, so suitable for a wide range of lifestyle choices. It comes in a gorgeous, simple frosted glass jar which is completely reusable, or can be recycled.
The candle is pink and white, in a beautiful ombre effect, so it looks decorative even when unlit. When lit, the fragrance of Snow Fairy gently fills the air. It's not quite as strong as I'd like - I wanted the aroma to slap me in the face - but for those wanting the smell of a Lush product minus the intensity associated with the store, then it's absolutely perfect.
Still, it smells completely gorgeous; it's sweet and fresh and seems to promote a sense of calm and serenity - ideal after a long, stressful day at work. It's definitely a candle I'll buy every year and I only hope it's one day made a permanent product.
