If there's one thing we love about Kim Kardashian, it's her enviably snatched body. The reality TV star is known for having a wardrobe full of curve-hugging pieces - from bodycon dresses and PVC jumpsuits to corset gowns and leather skirts. She's the queen of skin-tight outfits.
It's no secret that Kim works incredibly hard to keep her body in shape, but the 41-year-old is also a massive fan of shapewear as well. So it was only a matter of time before she released her own line in 2019: Skims Solutionwear.
After hearing all the hype about the TV star's shapewear, I decided to see if I could achieve the results it promises to deliver.
My Skims order arrived and I couldn't have been more excited. I unpackaged the high waist briefs I picked out and immediately panicked. Despite being the correct size (an S/M), they looked like they would never fit me. The material also felt super thick... would they be stretchy enough?
Getting them on was really difficult. However, after a few minutes of pulling and wriggling, they ended up on. The results? A smooth, sculpted and contoured silhouette. The fabric of the briefs certainly felt tough, but I still found them comfortable to wear for hours on end and the seams didn't dig into my skin.
The only downside for me was how hard they were to get on. Most shapewear briefs can be exhaustingly difficult to squeeze into, so I'd advise sizing up and putting them on very slowly to avoid discomfort. As they're so hard to get in and out of, I would only wear my Skims briefs on special occasions or nights out.
One thing I really love about the Skims range is that the whole collection has been designed with all body types and skin tones in mind. Most pieces we spotted on the brand's website are available in a whopping nine different shades, with sizes ranging from XXS to 5XL.
There's all the shapewear you could want from thongs and bodies to slip dresses.
