Crowned the number one skincare brand for anti-ageing, Elemis is a popular brand amongst beauty lovers.
The British luxury skincare and spa brand is recognised for its pricey yet effective products.
After investing in a few of their cleansing products, I thought I’d try out one of their primers which has rave reviews.

The ‘Superfood glow priming moisturiser’ is priced at £39, which is rather pricey for a small bottle of primer.
I applied a thin layer of the primer before my foundation, to see if it really made a difference.
The primer
The primer itself was quite thick in consistency, despite it being in a small bottle, and a little really did go a long way.
It was quite shimmery to look at, and had a really refreshing scent once applied all over the face.
Before I’d even applied my foundation, I could see the layer of primer, which gave my skin a beautiful glow.
If I was confident enough to go out without foundation and just wear this, I would, because it gave my face a matte yet glowy finish.
After I applied my foundation, the glow was subtle but evident, and didn’t leave my face looking too shiny.
After just two days of wearing this product, I started to notice my skin feeling a lot softer and a lot firmer.
I’ve now almost finished the bottle, and basically can’t go a day without wearing it.
The verdict
This primer is definitely a lot pricier than others, but I think it really counts when you can see a long term difference using it.
I’ve been using this product for over a month now and the primer has really helped brighten my skin.
It feels so much softer, and I feel a lot more confident with it on my face as a base before my foundation.
