As we all know, our hair can get dry from colouring it, heat and the weather, so using a good hair mask is a necessity to keep your hair healthy.
I decided to try the Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask with Prickly Pear Oil after reading so many five star reviews online. It does however, come with a steep price tag. It is being sold on the Christophe Robin website for £50 which is an investment for a hair mask - but hopefully the results will be worth it.
The full description reads: “The Regenerating Mask helps to rejuvenate dry, damaged and chemically treated hair so it appears healthy and restored with an instantly sumptuous look.

“Concentrated in prickly pear oil, a rare and revered active ingredient, the formula works to improve the appearance of split ends so hair feels stronger and silky to the touch with a visible glossy luminosity.”
First thoughts
When I first opened the hair mask, I was surprised at the thickness of the mask. The fact it was thick, I knew a little bit would go a long way on my hair. The mask doesn't smell overly perfumed, it just has hints of sweetness which I found lovely.
The hair mask is suitable for all hair types, especially dry and damaged hair which I knew would be perfect for me as I do suffer with dry hair. The tub is 250ml so you do get a lot of product
How to use
Once you have shampooed your hair, apply a small amount of the Regenerating Mask to your wet hair. The description states to apply the mask at your scalp and massage through to the ends, but as I have extensions, I applied the mask from below these.
I then combed my hair making sure every piece of hair was completely covered in the mask. I left it in my hair for just over five minutes before rinsing off.
My thoughts on the mask
After using many different brands of hair masks in the past, this one is definitely my favourite. After just one use, my hair is so glossy, healthy and shiny.
My hair is silky smooth, it has honestly never been so soft. I’m already counting down the days until I can use this again. Also, the tub is 250ml so you do get a lot of product and as you only need a small amount, it will definitely last me a while.
Online reviews
Many gushing five star reviews have been left online. One happy shopper commented: “I hesitated to buy the mask for a looong time because of the price, but now that I did.”
Another said: “Already after the first use, I felt and saw a tremendous difference in my hair structure - what looked damaged, dry and frizzy before was silky, smooth and healthy-looking afterwards!” A third added: “Absolutely love this mask, I've got long hair and a little goes a long way, with each strand feeling coated in the product.”
