It's officially September, which means it is time to say goodbye to bright floral dresses and hello to darker more Autumnal tones.
Transitional outfits can be difficult to master, but New Look has definitely made life easier with its new range of Autumnal prints on offer. Midi dresses are already ideal for cooler weather as they keep your legs nice and warm, and they can even be paired up with tights too if needed.
I'm so glad I stumbled across this Green Ditsy Floral Crew Neck Split Midi Dress priced at £29.99, the long sleeves and soft fabric make the dress feel cosy and comfortable which is just what you need as the weather starts to get a little chillier. What really attracted me to this dress was the design, it's autumnal and dark but still has that femininity that I like.

The pop of colour of the green makes the dress still manage to look vibrant and the slit on the hem means you can choose whether you want to dress up or dress down in the outfit. I've already worn this dress loads of times now, paired with converse mainly, but will definitely be trying on some green heels with it for an extra bit of Autumn glam.
In terms of sizing, I went for a size 12 which fit me absolutely perfectly. The dress is slightly figure hugging around the waist but not tight or uncomfortable, as it opens out it creates a really nice flowy look.
I'm not overexaggerating when I say I could easily fall asleep in this dress. It's so soft and comfortable, which is just what you need after a big Sunday roast in cooler weather.
Of course, I wouldn't advise napping in this dress, but I'm just saying that if a nap does occur when wearing it, it'll definitely be a comfortable one! I'm really enjoying New Look dresses at the moment, because they don't skimp on comfort, which many high street brands are guilty of.
The dress is currently selling very fast on the New Look website and there are only a few sizes left. Find out more or purchase the £29.99 dress here.
