Antonio Conte believes Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will see the 1-1 draw between the Reds and Tottenham Hotspur as a 'point gained rather than two lost'. The draw saw Liverpool slip behind Manchester City in the race for the Premier League title.
After the game, Klopp wasn't happy with the way Tottenham set up and thinks they could 'do more' in games to win them. Klopp has since admitted he regrets making the comments.
Conte has insisted his players were not happy after the match at Anfield on Saturday that they had only come away with a draw and not the full three points as they go in search of fourth place.

"Who knows me know very well that I want to win every game," said Conte. "I transferred my thoughts to my players. For sure when I stay in one team, in one club, my aspiration is to win the title. To win the league in England is not easy. Guardiola said Liverpool only won one league title but maybe it's easier to win the Champions League or other trophies.
"After Liverpool, the best answer I had was that the players were disappointed after the game because they had the chance to win. We analysed the game after and if there was one team that should have won the game it was Tottenham. I think Jurgen realised that Liverpool gained a point rather than losing two.
"It's important to be focused on your team after the game rather than look for an alibi over what went wrong."
Conte and Klopp have a lot of respect for each other, but the Italian wants the Liverpool boss to focus on his own team.
"Honestly, for the coach it is not simple after the game, you have to try to keep your head cool," Conte added. "Sometimes it is not easy and many times if you remember this season I was disappointed with the result and myself and my players. When we lost against Burnley if you remember I gave to myself the fault of the defeat.
"Sometimes we are a bit frustrated, especially at the end of the season when a bad result can change an important for you. I have respect for Jurgen and I know he respects me a lot and this is a good chance for him and me to learn that during the game you never have to speak about your opponent. It is important to be focused on your team."
