Amazon Prime Day is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated shopping events of the year, offering incredible deals across various product categories. And for shoppers, it offers the ultimate opportunity to stock up on essentials, or treat yourself to that premium skincare favourite that’s been on your wish list since January.
As a beauty enthusiast, I eagerly dove into the virtual aisles, navigating through countless deals and discounts to share them with our readers via our live beauty blog, spending around 15 hours yesterday - and more this morning - scouting out the offers we think you’ll love.
We promised to only share the discounts that we genuinely rate and would buy ourselves, and after meticulous research and thorough testing, these are my top five picks from this year's Amazon Prime Day beauty extravaganza.
TikTok-approved mascara slashed to under £8
In the realm of viral makeup sensations, few products have captured the hearts and peepers of thousands of beauty buffs quite like Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara. The budget mascara has amassed more than 23,000 reviews from shoppers - and remains to be one of Amazon’s best-selling products in the cosmetics category.
With its innovative formula and unique brush design, Maybelline’s Sky High mascara promises to deliver ‘full volume and a limitless length look’, which is unique in itself as mascara’s tend to offer one or the other, proving that the lash game has been forever changed by the American beauty brand.
Originally retailing at £9.99, the mascara now carries a retail price of £11.99 - however, it’s been reduced significantly for Amazon Prime Day, coming in at £7.99 on Amazon. It’s been price matched at Boots, but remains full-price at Superdrug.
If you already know and love the mascara, or are willing to commit to it based on its reviews, Amazon also has a two for £14 deal, which is automatically applied at the checkout when you add two to your basket.

35 per cent off Molly-Mae Hague’s favourite Elemis cleanser
In a recent Instagram video, Love Island star Molly-Mae revealed that she ‘swears by’ the Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm.
The luxury cleanser would usually set you back £48 at Sephora, however it’s been reduced to just £30.99 in Amazon’s Prime Day sale - so it’s the perfect time to try the cult cleanser if you haven't already.
The popular product is formulated with English rose oleo extract to gently cleanse your skin, removing stubborn makeup, excess sebum and daily pollutants while soothing your skin - think of it as a facial in a pot, dreamy right? It can be used at the end of the day to remove both eye and face makeup - or as a nourishing face mask once a week.
Molly Mae said: "This product is absolutely incredible to remove my makeup. Just take two fingernails of the product and I just massage it into my skin. I used to use makeup wipes but so many people told me, 'you don't not realise just how bad that is for your skin', but once I started using this I've never gone back to using wipes."
Some of our other favourite Elemis offers on Amazon include:
- Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm 100g usually £48 now £33.99
- Pro-Collagen Marine Cream is down to £60.99 from £94
- Superfood Midnight Facial now £28.89 instead of £44.

The £25 straighteners shoppers are ‘abandoning ghds’ for
Brands like Dyson, ghd and Cloud Nine have often paved the way in the hair tools industry - but a budget pair of straighteners from Amazon are reportedly giving them all a run for their money. While the Dyson Coralle costs just under £400, and Cloud Nine totting up to £189, this pair of Remington straighteners are now under £24 for Amazon Prime Day - and shoppers say they’re the best they’ve used.
Usually £79.99, the Remington straighteners are reduced to just £23.74, making them cheaper than Boots where they’re £28, and Asda, where they’re £55. Earlier this week, they were £34.99, then £28, then £24.99 - so this is the lowest price they've been in recent months.
I tried them out for myself and actually preferred them to my ghds.
"The Advanced Ceramic coated plates are infused with Moroccan Argan Oil and Vitamin E, while the floating plates make them spongy and allow for even pressure on the hair, so not was my hair styled to perfection, it was left shiny and healthy looking too.
"The device made light work of giving me pin-straight locks without leaving my bleached hair feeling dry as has previously been the case when styling my hair with heat, in fact, it was left feeling really moisturised and glossy."
The hair tools have amassed almost 19,000 five star Amazon reviews, which account for 80 per cent of the total reviews, placing them at number 30 in the haircare best-sellers list on Amazon.
You can buy them here for £23.74.
Amazon slash £150 Philips IPL hair removal device hailed as 'life-changing'
If you've been looking for a pain-free alternative to shaving, waxing or plucking, but don't have thousands to spend on laser, there's a device which shoppers say gives 'just as good' results - and you can get £150 off it right now.
Originally priced at £449.99, the Philips Lumea 8000 Prestige IPL Hair Removal device has been dropped to £299.99 in the Amazon Prime Day sale which works out less than you'd pay for two sessions of laser hair removal if done in a salon.
The device boasts Philips innovative IPL, short for 'Intense Pulsed Light' technology which destroys the hair at the root and breaks the cycle of hair regrowth - over time leaving your skin hair-free and super smooth.
It's received plenty of glowing reviews on the Amazon website too, with shoppers calling it 'life-changing' and 'worth every penny.'

Beauty fans dub £7 anti-ageing cream as ‘better than £275 La Mer’
Claiming to ‘fight the seven signs of ageing’, the Olay product has been heavily discounted for a limited time, and is said to be even ‘better than’ high end brands like La Mer.
The Olay Total Effects Anti-Ageing 7in1 Day Moisturiser is usually £16.50, but has been reduced to £7.03 - even cheaper than Boots, where it's been reduced to £11.
The product has racked up a whopping 1,732 five star reviews on the Boots website, compared to only 39 one star ratings, with users of all ages dubbing it their ‘Holy Grail’. Amazon shoppers have been equally as impressed, with an overall rating of 4.5 stars based on 1,491 reviews.
One mum said her friends thought she'd gone under the needle, but decided to share her skincare secret with them. She wrote: “I raise teenagers whiles working a 50hr week in shifts and run a house so any creams that I use need to be easily absord so I can put my make up on immediately. I have had a few comments on my skin from friends - I think they thought I might have had Botox but when I told them what I had used they were all very shocked."
This one is a super affordable deal and is one we'll be adding to our own baskets - we're dying to know if it's as good as everyone says it is for ourselves.
