A woman shocked her fans on social media after revealing she spent 20 minutes every day doing her eyelashes - as some thought they "look like spiders".
TikTok user Brenna said that of her face of make-up, her eyelashes were the most important bit to get right - and one mistake ruins her whole look.
She would spend up to 20 minutes each day applying mascara and wanted to get it just right, and had her own particular style that she loved.
But not everyone enjoyed her look, as some said her eyelashes were too thick and spindly - and one social media user even said they looked like spider legs.

Brenna, who uploads to TikTok with the username @thisgirlbrenna_, posed the question: "Why do you spend five minutes on your entire face of make-up and then spend 20 minutes on just your mascara?"
And she wrote: "Because if my lashes aren’t exactly how I want them I will literally have a bad day."
Brenna's video soon had over 200,000 views on TikTok alongside hundreds of comments, and her fans seemed divided over her eyelashes.
One said: "Spider lashes - just use falsies at this point."
And a second wrote: "All that time and they still look bad."
Then a third added: "In the nicest way possible, they don't look good."
But some liked Brenna's style and praised her for the look. One wrote: "I thought it was just me. My day is literally ruined if my lashes don’t look perfect the rest of the look feels off."
Then another user said: "I love your lashes! Would look really cute if you tried just the top lashes."
And a third added: "I do my eyelashes first and if they aren’t cooperating I’m going no makeup."
Soon it emerged that Brenna was going for a 'spider' style.
One commenter added: "Scary spider lashes." To which Brenna replied: "That’s the point, everyone is scared of spiders so if I scare everyone off with my scary spider lashes then I don’t have to talk to people. win."
