A mum who realised she had to quit her job after becoming pregnant is now relishing the decision as she's making £15,000 a month from her own business.
Jade Wood, 38, knew she wouldn't be able to keep up with her 50-hour-a-week job and give her second daughter the attention she needed.
So, with a heavy heart, she stepped back from her career as a secondary school teacher and welcomed young Piper into the family.
While she was looking after the youngster she used her spare time to launch her own business, making silicone toys for children - and soon orders came flooding in.

Talking to kidspot, Jade, from Melbourne, Australia, said: "I knew that it wasn’t possible to continue with my old career with the life that I wanted for my family, so this gave me a sense of purpose to create a new one.
“I had to make it work, I had no choice. That was my motivation. I would work during breastfeeding, naps, and mostly at night up until late.
In 2017, with six-month-old Piper, Jade designed her first product, a shooting star teething toy, which she sold on her website, Little Woods.

Watching her youngster grow, Jade got new ideas and soon her product range grew and she began selling silicone utensil which has a spoon on one end and a circle-shaped fork on the other.
She added: "It works well because babies randomly stab food, and with this style, the food gets caught in the cavity between the prongs, allowing them to bring it to their mouths more easily."
Now Jade's business is booming and brings in over £15,000 a month, and she's working just a fraction of the time - spending more valuable hours with her family instead.
