Andy Halliday has shared details of how former Rangers manager Mark Warburton once left the squad baffled by displaying the wrong team sheet on a flip-chart during a pre-match meeting.
That's because he was paranoid about line-up leaks, and it's something Halliday's says has been a concern for a succession of Rangers bosses.
WhatsApp rumours and speculation has long been a regular occurrence among supporters, and Motherwell midfielder Halliday disclosed that the blue tarpaulin surrounding the pitch at the Rangers Training Centre was also implemented due to suspicions raised by Steven Gerrard regarding potential leaks.
"Every single Rangers manager I played under all said about a leak," Halliday revealed on Open Goal.
"The very first one was Mark Warburton - we never used to pick the team on a Friday - he would pick it pre-match on a matchday. He would write the team out on a flip-chart.

"He's talking about leaks... there are 15 waiters at a hotel walking about with the team on a flip-chart. I mean it is not f****** rocket science to find out the team.
"This is God's honest truth. One day we were playing midweek at Easter Road. We've turned up and been like 'f****** hell that is a random team the amount of changes that are there' but he said that is not the team lads. It is just in case of one of these waiters.
"[Steven] Gerrard's big one was he thought someone in the training ground was leaking the team. So see the big blue mesh around the pitch now? That was because of that."
