'I'm sick of my partner eating his ear wax and crusty eye bits - but he refuses to stop'

Everybody has weird eating habits - whether it's not wanting your beans to touch your toast, wanting your pasta sauce separate from your pasta, or not letting anything touch on your plate.

Fussy eating can be annoying if you're the one preparing the food - but what if your other half's eating habits extended to more than just food? What if they were eating their own snot, ear wax and crusty bits from their eyes?

The distressed woman took to Mumsnet to complain about her partner's disgusting eating habits - but her partner doesn't think he's doing anything wrong.

She wrote: "Does anyone else's partner eat their own snot, ear wax and sleepies? Apologies in advance for using the word sleepies that's just what I know it as (crusty bits in corner of eyes when you wake up).

"He thinks the fact I'm disgusted is unreasonable as most people do this and others don't bat an eyelid. REALLY?"

We are literally gagging, as are other Mumsnet users, and the comments were exactly as you'd expect - someone simply commented two vomiting emojis to express their horror at the man's behaviour.

One user wrote: "Beyond gross."

"I'm going to hazard a guess most people DON'T do this?", another said.

"Oh my god. I am retching just reading this", another commented, followed by crying with laughter emojis.

Another was horrified: "Oh my gosh, I was nearly sick, that is so disgusting. I actually wouldn't be able to be with him, oh that's so, so, so gross", followed by an unimpressed emoji.

"Is your partner an Orangutan?", someone joked.

The woman who did the post commented further down on the thread, writing: "I'm so glad it's not just me that finds it so disgusting! I have been quite repulsed, I can't even bear the thought of kissing him!

"Why the hell does he think it's so normal? I am actually wondering if I can get past this... as someone suggested, what is he eating that I don't know about?!"

Could you be in a relationship with someone who ate ear wax and snot? Let us know in the comments.
