Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez says he is ready to feature against AFC Bournemouth this evening.
Since the World Cup final, Martinez had been in Argentina celebrating his and his country's victory over France in Qatar. The 24-year-old arrived back at Carrington just prior to Saturday's victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers but was not fit enough to start against the West Midlands club.
However, ahead of tonight's match with the Cherries, Martinez has confirmed that he is ready to start for the Reds. He told United's official club website : "I needed a few days of training to get back to full strength and now I feel good.

"I’m ready. There’s no doubt we’ll be giving it everything."
Martinez has become a fan favourite in Manchester since his switch from Ajax and the Argentine explained that he is grateful for the supporters' backing since the move. He added: "When I see people in the street they always recognise me and show that affection, that support.
"What I always try to do is give my all for the team, for the club, to fight to the end and to always try and win games and to have that mindset – so that is why we feel connected to the fans."
The centre-back also believes that he shares this close bond with his teammates as well. He added: "I’ve formed a really good relationship with my team-mates, with the staff, and everyone who works here. I feel there’s a warmth between us and it was really good to be back.
"It’s lovely to be here. The people are great and they always show me a lot of affection and that fills me with great pride too."
