Ally McCoist cheekily requested tickets for the Europa League match between Rangers and Manchester United in a live on-air interview with James Tavernier.
The Ibrox hero asked the Rangers captain whether he could sort out two tickets for the league phase match on Thursday night.
McCoist will be on commentary for TNT Sports covering the fixture but couldn't resist requesting a pair of tickets from Tavernier just two days out from the match.
Appearing on talkSPORT, Tavernier had been discussing the match when McCoist jumped in to enquire about any spare tickets.
"You’ve got to fancy yourself against anybody," said Tavernier. "Obviously they’re going through a difficult patch at the minute, so yeah, we were obviously going to work on what we believe they’re going to be setting themselves up to do against us.

"Work really hard in the next couple of days and put that game plan into the game and hopefully we can get that win."
On Rangers fans, Tavernier continued: "The lucky ones will get tickets. I believe there's going to be a lot of people..."
McCoist then interjected to launch into an appeal for two tickets. He said: "I'm needing two off of you by the way!"
Laughing, Tavernier responded: "Maybe you're a bit too late now!"
But, smiling, McCoist then insisted: "You think I'm joking - I'm not joking!"
