A woman who sexually abused two children and stated that she was 'not a beast' lashed out at police officers.
Samantha Smith turned on the constables during a routine home check in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire, on September 1, 2021.
The 32-year-old initially called them "F***ing liars" before throwing clothes at them.
Smith was jailed for three years after repeatedly preying on a boy aged five and a three-year-old girl.
The abuse lasted until they were aged eight and five at a house in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire.
She sobbed and screamed: "I'm not a beast" when convicted by a jury at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
Smith pled guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to her latest offence of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
The court heard as a result of her earlier conviction, Smith was being managed by social work and Police Scotland.
She was subject to a routine unannounced search on the day of the incident.
Smith was "hostile" and refused to engage with police.
Prosecutor Alasdair Knox said: "Smith shouted and swore at the officers stating 'You are both f***ing liars', 'F*** you, I'm telling you nothing' and 'Karma is a b****'."
Smith was asked for a search around her flat subject to her licensing conditions which was accepted.
She said: "I've done f***all wrong, get to f*** out my house, I've got nothing to hide."
Smith picked up the clothes horse which contained clothing and threw it at a door where the officers were entering.
Mr Knox added: "She entered her bedroom and pulled out the contents of her wardrobe and drawers, throwing some of them towards officers and others across the room."
Smith was ordered to stop before entering the kitchen and threw utensils in the officers' direction.
Nigel Scullion, defending, told the court that Smith had problems with her new social worker at the time.
The lawyer added: "She acted in an unacceptable way and she apologises for that."
Smith was recalled to prison with a released date of November this year.
She will not receive further time in custody as sheriff John McCormick sentenced her to four months which will run alongside her current sentence.
