'I'm in my 40s - Boots' £11 anti-ageing cream that rivals £275 La Mer is my Holy Grail'

Mature women aged 40 and over say an £11 Boots anti-ageing cream is their 'holy grail', and claims it makes their skin so flawless, it rivals expensive designer brand La Mer - where anti-wrinkle creams can cost as much as £275.

Olay Total Effects Anti-Ageing 7in1 Day Moisturiser With SPF15 50ml usually costs £34.99, but has been reduced down to £11 on the Boots website. The £11 Olay Total Effects Anti-Ageing 7in1 Day Moisturiser With SPF15 is an anti-ageing moisturiser that fights the 7 signs of ageing for a radiant and flawless skin.

The budget anti-ageing cream contains Niacinamide and Antioxidants. Olay Total Effects Cream exfoliates to enhance skin’s surface natural self-renewal process for healthier looking skin.

Its non-greasy, fast absorbing formula will not clog the pores of the skin. The Olay Total Effects Anti-Ageing 7in1 Day Moisturiser With SPF15 has impressed Boots shoppers, and has had an impressive number of five-star reviews on the Boots website - 1732, to be exact.

After trying the £11 Boots anti-ageing cream for herself for five weeks, one reviewer wrote: "I have been using Olay Total Effects day moisturiser for about 5 weeks now and I can honestly say that it is the best day cream I have used! It really does do exactly what it says on the box, my pore size has markedly reduced, my complexion looks smooth/even and brighter and crows feet are no more!"

A second wrote: "Holy grail product for everyone age 40 and above. My mum, my aunts they all loved it." A third Boots customer said: "I have used Olay for the last 53 years, I started when I was twenty when it was Oil of Ulay! I have progressed through the different age group 'potions' and they have always made my skin feel good. I don't know if it has made any difference but I am always told that I have good skin - inherited from my mum but kept on check by Olay.”

"My favourite all in one moisturiser. It’s light enough for under makeup and I like that it has added benefit of SPF Protection," wrote another five-star reviewer. Somebody else raved: "Used by my auntie who said it left her skin feeling young again."

Some have said it’s even better than a cream from luxury skincare brand La Mer, whose moisturiser costs £150 for 30ml, or £275 for 60ml. By comparison, the Olay bottle is currently £11 for 50ml

Olay Total Effects Anti-Ageing 7in1 Day Moisturiser With SPF15 50ml is £11 instead of £34.99 on the Boots website. Boots also currently has £10 off (use REVERSE10 at checkout) products from its 'first of a kind' Future Renew anti-ageing serums and creams, which promise to reverse the signs of ageing and skin damage.
