'I'm an ex-flight attendant - there's one passenger I hate and it's not a screaming baby'

Travellers can agree that being stuck in a confined airplane seat thousands of miles in the air is no easy task. Not to mention, you may also have to face the screams of a baby for the duration of your flight.

However, one ex-flight attendant has revealed that her ultimate nightmare passenger is the complete opposite of a screaming child. In fact, she despises those that turn their noses up to the parents of upset children.

Taking to popular video-streaming service TikTok, Kat Kamalani called out the aggravating passengers in a scathing video that's surpassed a whopping 1.5 million views since posting.

Captioning the post, Kat wrote: "THIS - I promise you, you won't win… just be a kind human and don't do this."

Responding to another video of a passenger hushing and pressuring a parent to keep their child quiet, the former flight attendant fumed about the traveller.

Alongside her rant, she shared first-hand advice on "what to do when a child is screaming on an airplane".

She explained: "I promise you there's nothing that irritates us more as a flight attendant when people complain about babies crying.

"So, if you're travelling bring noise cancelling headphones or maybe ask the parents if they need help.

"Don't even ask us to be moved to a different seat because I promise you no one wants that baby to stop crying more than that parent."

Flocking to the comments, a few concerned parents shared their worry about their children acting up mid-flight.

One parent wrote: "I have three children and it's the worst feeling knowing people hate it. We do everything to make sure they don't cry…."

"Amen!!! And it only makes us more stressed when everyone around us is against us," a second agreed.

Meanwhile, a third commented: "Tears…then the parent feels it and gets even more stressed…which just keeps it all going. Sweet of you to post it."

A fourth suggested: "Just tell them: Dear customer, this is public transportation. Next time fly in your private jet."
