A woman who works as a professional organiser has revealed how satisfying her job is - as she's able to help clients transform their homes into neatly organised and manageable spaces.
Christie Harvey, 34, kickstarted her business between lockdowns, after she left her previous job in retail in order to have her two daughters, Penelope, six, and Poppy, four, and needed something to keep herself busy as her children got older.
The woman, from Liverpool, Merseyside, soon began sorting out wardrobes, cupboards, and kids' playrooms around the Merseyside area - and can now count the likes of Elissa Corrigan from Desperate Scousewives, and Hollyoaks stars Gemma Merna and Sarah Jane Dunn among her clientele.
She said: "I just love organising things and colour coding. It's so satisfying looking at the before and after pictures, I absolutely love it. I love chatting to people as well and getting to know them while I'm working in their house."

"I left my job to have my children and I just felt a bit out of place as they got older.
"I followed a few other professional organisers on social media, but they were all based in London. I wanted to do something for myself, and have my own project, so I started this.
"I'm helping people who are often overwhelmed by the idea of organising their spaces."
The mum-of-two charges £20-an-hour to visit homes and organise people's spaces, and she can't believe how much her business has grown since she took on her first client - who was her sister-in-law.
She added: "When I first started, it was in the middle of lockdown, so I was posting from my house just to build up a following on social media.
"My first proper client was my sister-in-law, and from there the business has grown and grown.
"I had my first overnight stay job recently, where a client who lived quite far away paid for a hotel for me to stay in for the night."
And Christie has had nothing but support and glowing reviews from her clients so far, with many of them saying they feel as though their home has been through therapy by the time the organiser has finished.
She explained: "I think almost every client I've had has invited me back. It's been so good to build up relationships with people and have them want more help from me.
"Obviously they want me to organise a different part of their house, but when I go back I can see they've kept up the organisation I did for them and maintained it, which is really nice to see.
"They often tell me it's like therapy for their houses."
Christie also confessed that since working with TV stars, people always ask her the same question.
"People usually want to know what people's houses look like on the inside," she said, "especially when I tell them I've worked with people like Gemma Merna and Sarah Jane Dunn. Obviously, I don't tell them!"
