A voice note sent from Justin Baldoni to Blake Lively has added another twist in the tale of the It Ends With Us on-set drama.
It has been revealed that Baldoni, the film’s director and Blake Lively’s on screen love interest, apologised to Lively in the early days of production on the movie, telling her “I f***ed up” and “I’m a flawed man.”
The voice note was allegedly recorded after the costars’ meeting to discuss the rooftop scene in It Ends With Us, where Lively and Baldoni’s characters share an intimate moment in the movie.
Blake rewrote Baldoni’s take on the scene with help from her husband, Ryan Reynolds. She shared her rewrite plans with Baldoni in a meeting which involved them, Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift, according to TMZ.
In the voice note, Justin Baldoni acknowledges their script changes, telling Lively: “Damn right, you've got great friends. We should all have friends like that, aside from the fact that they're two of the most creative people on the planet.”
He is heard apologising to Lively for something, saying: “I'm really sorry. I f***ed up. I will admit and apologize when I fail. I'm a very flawed man, as my wife will attest.”

He continues: “I'm gonna piss you off, probably, but I will always apologize and find my way back to center. I'm sorry I made you feel that way. I will, for sure, do better.”
Baldoni also makes an innuendo about sharing “creative juices” and references Lively probably having “a baby on her boob” when she listens to the voice note due to Baldoni sending it at 2am in the morning.
This quote is particularly relevant to Lively’s sexual misconduct allegations against Baldoni, which include the claim that he walked into her dressing room while she was breastfeeding. Legal representatives for Baldoni have firmly denied Lively’s allegations.
Ironically, Justin Baldoni also references Blake Lively’s bad experiences with other filmmakers, saying: “That's not at all gonna be, or will be, and hopefully it's not been the experience with me. There's nothing more exciting to me that I get to work with Blake Lively and have all of her. I mean, that's what I want!”

This comes after a message was leaked which appeared to be from Lively to Baldoni, where Lively refers to herself as “Khaleesi” (a reference to Emilia Clarke’s character in Game of Thrones) and says she has “dragons”.
The voice note is only the latest leak from the legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, which now has a provisional court date set for 2026.
Baldoni’s legal team also leaked a video of raw, unedited footage from on-set of It Ends With Us as part of their goal for “transparency”.
