I’m A Celebrity winner Jill Scott set to plan wedding with fiancée after jungle stint

Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott has revealed she will finally start planning her wedding to fiancée Shelly Unitt after being crowned winner of I'm A Celebrity.

The Sunderland-born football star was greeted by Shelly after winning the ITV show on Sunday night. Jill and Shelly, who have been together for over six years, got engaged two years ago.

After her jungle stint, Jill told The Mirror they will now start planning their wedding. She said: "We got engaged two years ago and Covid hit us so I think we do need to get some planning in place.

"It will be nice. We need to sit down and just catch up on the last five weeks and what’s happened but obviously getting engaged, the next plan is to get wed."

Shelly, who has two daughters aged 19 and 15, has always been supportive of Jill’s career ventures, according to the Lioness. But that hasn’t made her time in the jungle and away from her any easier.

"I have always appreciated our relationship 100,” she said. “Being able to go off and do football and be away two weeks out of every month it’s so hard for the person that you’re with and the sacrifices they have to do and knowing I had Shelly’s support going into this from day one, if I hadn’t I wouldn’t have been able to do it so we’re a good team.”

She further said the pair were unlikely to tie the knot while they were in Australia. "I am excited to see what happens in the future but I don’t think there will be a wedding in the jungle,” she told The Mirror.
