I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! viewers have claimed Coleen Rooney made one final “dig” at her Wagatha Christie drama with Rebekah Vardy.
In her post-jungle interview, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly discussed how Rooney had exposed her fellow campmates Dean McCullough, Maura Higgins, and Reverend Richard Coles, who had secretly been living in a luxury camp dubbed the Jungle Junkyard earlier in the series.
The trio had been pretending to endure harsh conditions—sleeping on the floor and surviving without food—while actually enjoying beds, a fridge, and even a cooker.
Their deception was part of a challenge to convince their campmates they were struggling in order to win a buffet for the group.
However, during her second visit to the Junkyard, Rooney uncovered the truth, explaining that their behavior had made her suspicious.
Speaking about the moment, Rooney quipped: “I’m good at sniffing things out.”
Following her remark, viewers took to social media, writing that they believed Rooney could have been nodding to her feud with Vardy.
“Loved her subtle dig during her chat with Ant & Dec saying 'I’m good at sniffing things out,’” one penned.
Another wrote: “Coleen and her little subtle 'i'm quite good at sniffing things out.’”
“'I’m good at sniffing things out' We all knew that before Coleen even went into the jungle,” a third joked.
Rooney was dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie’ when she accused Norwich-born Vardy of leaking her private information to The Sun in a viral post on social media.
The two then famously faced off in a high-profile defamation trial. In July 2022, a judge at the High Court found the post was “substantially true” and Vardy was ordered to pay up to £1.5 million in legal fees.
Vardy, who is writing a column for The Sun newspaper about this year’s I’m A Celebrity series, has already stoked controversy after telling of her glee at seeing Rooney fall into the river twice, saying “it’s the gift that keeps on giving”.
