Some I'm A Celebrity... South Africa viewers have said they have found themselves 'switching off' over Carol Vorderman's 'habit'. The former Countdown star is among the ITV reality show's former campmates who have signed up to the programme for a second time in a bid to be granted 'All Star' status.
Instead of the usual I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here format, a bunch of previously seen campmates have been whisked off to the new setting of Kruger National Park but with no public vote, they will be competing against each other in a battle to become the first ever 'I'm A Celebrity Legend'.
Carol was among the show's original line-up who entered camp when the series kicked off on Monday night (April 24) alongside boxing champion Amir Khan; Diversity dancer and DJ Jordan Banjo; Olympic athlete Fatima Whitbread; Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan; former royal butler Paul Burrell; ex-England cricketer Phil Tufnell; supermodel Janice Dickinson and music legend Shaun Ryder.

They original group have since been joined by TV personality Gillian McKeith, former Made In Chelsea Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo, Coronation Street star Andy Whyment and singer-turned-presenter Myleene Klass as they compete to be crowned the ultimate I'm A Celeb campmate and the trials have officially been underway.
But there is something distracting viewers about Carol in particular. "Can't hear any of the other contestants over Carol's PAINFUL laugh. Almost switched off," one complained. Another said: "Carol Vorderman's laugh!! I don't know whether to love it or hate it. I do know if I was having a bad day and was in a bad mood it's the last thing I'd want to hear though lol."
A third added: "Gosh Carol Vorderman is so loud. I never noticed before." But another viewer said: "I adore Carol. She seems like such fun and such a good time. LOVE her laugh." Another added: "OMG Carol's laugh and the way she screeches! Love love love her."
Meanwhile, Carol has been sharing different insights into life in the South African bush every night as she takes to her Instagram profile live following each episode of the series, which was pre-recorded in September last year.
And in one video, Carol shared the truth about the trials and how they are different to being in the usual I'm A Celeb location of the Australian jungle. "When you go to the trials in Australia, you go out of camp, go over that swing bridge thing and then all the trials are at the end of the swing bridge," the 62-year-old explained.
"On this one, it's very different., You get to the gate to go out of camp and it's about 400 years you have to walk, and sometimes they blindfold you, you have to walk 400 yards to a blacked-out car which you have to sit in the back of and then the car drives off, sometimes for half an hour... But to get from the camp to where the trial is it takes a long time and so you get very nervous."
