I'm a Celebrity... Sue Cleaver under fire over Matt Hancock comments

Corrie star Sue Cleaver has incurred the wrath of I'm a Celebrity viewers over her 'bitching' about Matt Hancock. Some on Twitter accused the campmate of talking behind the former health secretary's back.

As reported by Chronicle Live, stars like Charlene White and Babatunde Aleshe have been upfront with their opinions. But Sue, Culture Club frontman Boy George and radio DJ Chris Moyles have been accused of sneakily sniping the MP.

Sue, famous to millions of ITV viewers for playing Eileen Grimshaw in Coronation Street, had more to say about Matt on Tuesday night's show, suggesting she wasn't convinced he'd come on I'm A Celeb 'for forgiveness'. And she criticised him for having a nap.

In a clip of the ITV show, she is heard saying to Mike Tindall: "It's come to my attention he's there all day sleeping. I don't think he's showing leadership qualities. It's not what the people need. I think we need to plan a revolution."

She later said: "He just sits on his red chair, I've not heard him talk to any of his ministers about their role and how it's going in the job so I don't think that can carry on for very much longer. Watch this space."

One unimpressed viewer took aim at her on Twitter, posting: "@Sue_Cleaver is coming across so judgemental and 2 faced. Her and Boy George sitting away from everyone talking about Matt Hancock like 2 nasty gossipers!"

A second tweeted: "@Sue_Cleaver has shown herself to be bitchy and rude. I was 100% expecting to love her."

Another said: "Does Sue Cleaver have a memory problem? She is whinging saying Matt sleeps all day.

"Has she forgotten he has done all of the trials and been feeding all of them since he entered the camp! Horrible woman!"
