I'm a Celebrity... South Africa to return to ITV next week after fans complain

I'm a Celebrity fans have taken to social media to bemoan having to wait for new episodes.

The gruelling reality TV show returned to our screens with a twist earlier this week. This series sees famous faces swap the Australian outback for South Africa, and the celebrities taking part are not strangers to the programme.

Every campmate has returned from a previous series, with each competing to be crowned I'm a Celebrity Legend.

Gillian McKeith and Shaun Ryder were the first two to be evicted, with both leaving in an episode that aired on Friday night. Fans will now have to wait until Monday to find out what happens next, with no episodes airing tonight (Saturday) or on Sunday.

I'm a Celebrity usually airs at 9pm, but in its place on Saturday will be Britain's Got Talent and The 1% Club, while on Sunday ITV will broadcast medical thriller Malpractice.

Writing in a Facebook group for fans of the show, one social media user said: "As if we've got to wait until Monday after THAT eviction", while a second said: "Just as I was getting into IAC it's not on now".

A third said: "Now the evictions are happening I want to see who goes next", and a fourth said: "Wasn't happy with who went and now I'm waiting to see if my other favourites go".
