I'm A Celebrity's Sue Cleaver on 'special bond' with Mike Tindall after Royal's 'divorce' quip

Striking up an unlikely friendship in the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle was Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver and Royal Mike Tindall. Sue has now been voted out of the jungle and in a question and answer session said she formed a "special bond" with Mike.

This comes after Mike said Sue leaving the jungle felt like a "divorce". Speaking in the Q&A Sue was asked "Who did you connect with on the deepest level?"

Replying, Sue said she connected with a few campmates and particularly Mike. She said: "I connected with a lot of people and I had really interesting conversations with Charlene, George, Seann and Mike. So, I connected with all of them, but I did have a special bond with Mike."

After Sue left the jungle Mike said it was a "tough morning" seeing her go and he feels like he has "gone through a divorce and a political break up in one sitting." He said: “It’s a tough morning. It’s almost like I’ve gone through a divorce and a political break-up in one sitting. I lost my camp wife and the Odds and Sods lost their deputy, which left a vast hole.”

Sue and Mike quickly became firm friends with Mike choosing her to be camp deputy, when he was elected as camp leader, and Mike comforting her when she was homesick. Saying she was "just having a moment", Sue was comforted by Mike when she was crying.

Comforting her Mike said everyone would look after her and joked about her seeing him in his pants. He said: “I’ll look after you. I just didn’t think it was that traumatic seeing me in my pants…” and Mike told the cameras: “She’s tough inside, she just had a little moment today. Hey, everyone, in this environment, completely expected.”

I'm a Celebrity continues nightly on ITV1 at 9pm.
