I'm A Celebrity's Seann Walsh opens up about going to therapy after Strictly scandal anxieties

Campmates very quickly become friends, or enemies, in the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle and comedian Seann Walsh opened up to Hollyoaks star Owen Warner about his mental health. Seann is known for scandal during his last reality show appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, when he was photographed kissing professional dance partner Katya Jones who was married to fellow professional dancer Neil Jones - prompting a huge backlash.

Chatting to Owen, Seann revealed he still feels very anxious about being on a reality TV show after the Strictly scandal. He said: "I just had such a horrific experience the last time I did something like this and then coming back, this is absolutely wonderful, but it brought that back." Seann has previously said it is his current girlfriend who encouraged him to enter the jungle.

Comforting Seann, Owen said: "Anyone that looks at someone's past and judges them from that, that is on them, that is their problem." Seann praised Owen and called him a "very wise young man" for his emotional advice.

Seann also spoke to Owen about how he attends therapy to help with his anxiety. He explained to Owen that he sees a therapist as he struggles when he has not planned his day or something unexpected happens.

Owen said he encourages his friends to talk to therapists and talk about their mental health. He added that being in the jungle had helped him become more open.

He said: "Something that being in here has really taught me is to wear your heart on your sleeve because someone is most likely feeling the same. That is something I will take with me forever now, I usually just keep my feelings close to my chest but if you just talk about it most of the time someone can relate to you."
