I'm A Celebrity's Olivia Attwood seen at airport returning to UK after shock departure

Olivia Attwood has been snapped at an Australian airport as she prepares to return home to the U.K.

The former Love Island star, 31, has been forced to pull out of this year's series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! just 24 hours on from first appearing on our screens last night.

A show spokesperson confirmed Olivia's shock early exit earlier today, telling The Mirror: "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo medical checks.

"Unfortunately, the medical team has advised that it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be further investigation.

"She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show."

Sharing a snap of Olivia walking through an airport Down Under this morning, a Twitter user wrote: "Celeb camp looks nice this year.

" Olivia Attwood has left the jungle already.. spotted at the airport #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity #Imaceleb2022 @antanddec @oliviajade_att."

"What a shame indeed. Hope she’s ok," one I'm A Celebrity fan wrote in response to the original tweet.

Olivia's early exit from the ITV show comes as a teaser for tonight's episode is released, which see the star take on a Bushtucker Trial before leaving the camp and heading home.

In the preview Chris Moyles, Boy George, Scarlette Douglas and Olivia can be seen taking part in HMS Drown Under as they try to win some all important stars and secure some hearty meals for the celebrity campsite.

"Turn on the taps," Declan Donnelly declares as he and co-host Ant McPartlin watch on as Chris and Boy George are seen lying in a dark, small space before being hit with some super cold water.

As Olivia and Scarlette grapple with some creepy crawlies in a bid to turn the taps on, Chris yells "you could have warmed it up as bit" as the cold water hit him and Boy George.

The trial comes following the celebrities being told who had been voted to become Jungle VIPs, before cruel twist was revealed.

"I am equal parts flattered and unnerved the public voted for me to be a VIP… I’m guessing they know more of what that entails than I do. I’m hoping it will be a nice thing but I have a feeling it might not be," Olivia admitted as she was announced as a VIP.

The former TOWIE star was right to be worried, as hosts Ant and Dec went on to explain how the acronym actually stood for very isolated person

Olivia was the first female celebrity officially confirmed for this year's series of I'm A Celebrity, with the reality TV star snapped arriving at Brisbane Airport shortly after Chris Moyles' arrival Down Under last month.

"My friends and family have always wanted me to do this show so lets see how it goes. I love Ant and Dec, I have grown up watching them. They are British TV Icons," she explained ahead of her short stint on I'm a Celebrity.
