I'm A Celebrity's Mike Tindall shuts down 'glamour' rumours with behind the scenes reveal

I'm A Celebrity has come to an end after three weeks of challenges, chat and controvosy. However, Mike Tindall was quick to shut down rumours that the I'm A Celebrity camp is actually full of glamour.

As fans continue to ponder on what the camp is actually like, and some even asking whether celebs are whisked away when cameras aren't filming, former rugby star Mike quashed rumours with a behind the scenes tour. The fourth-placed finalist took to Instagram on the final evening of the show and revealed just what awaits campmates and those who work on the show.

The Mirror spotted that Mike had started a live stream on Sunday, which began: "For everyone who thinks it's glamorous in I'm A Celebrity, basically, this is behind the scenes. Lots of red c**p, lots of buses, erm, there's not really anything going on."

The 44-year-old then took his 355,000 followers on a whistle-stop tour of the crew and the surroundings, and he introduced fellow campmates to his feed. Speaking to Scarlette Douglas about the tents, Mike said: "If you think it gets any more glamorous in the tents, let's have a look, shall we? This is what it looks like. Yes, it's trestle tables and just seats. So it is just that.

"And then if you want to think that maybe the celebs hang out in a better place - I hate using the word 'celebs', by the way - same." Panning the camera back to the outside area, Mike is then gutted to miss the reuniting of second-placed Owen Warner and his brothers.

He does, however, get a good chat with Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott and Corrie's Sue Cleaver, before panning on to a glammed-up Boy George and, according to the publication, seemingly snubbing Matt Hancock. Nicknamed "Magic Mike", the sportsman and royal won the hearts of many viewers.

He also delighted fans when he was greet by his wife Zara Phillips on the bridge after exiting the show. The couple's tight embrace had viewers turning to social media to express their love for the contestant and his relationship.

He later posted a selfie of the pair as they grabbed a bite to eat at Bumbles Cafe, located only a five-minute walk from the heart of Surfers Paradise. He wrote: "Reunited!!! [love heart emoji]. Back to normality and time to eat!!! Thanks for all the kind messages! It was a blast! #imaceleb #familytime."
