Fans who stuck with the popular ITV show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! during its two-year stint in North Wales as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic will be pleased to hear that Kiosk Cledwyn is set to be returning to Gwrych Castle, where the show took place in 2020 and 2021.
The show, which first aired in 2002, had been shot in Australia for 18 years before the pandemic hit but, due to lockdown restrictions and border control, it was unable to make its way Down Under until this year. And although the show has made its welcome return to warmer climates - complete with a few show favourites from years past, such as Kiosk Kev - the show's Welsh counterpart, Gwrych Castle, is keeping its memory alive.
It announced recently that Kiosk Cledwyn, Kev's Welsh cousin, who featured regularly during the last two years of the show - read more on him here - will be making his way back to the castle to make some special appearances around Christmas time.

The castle's Instagram page wrote alongside a picture of the beloved shopkeeper: "Cledwyn is returning to Gwrych Castle this Christmas for Santa’s Enchanted Grotto & Elf Academy! Kiosk Cledwyn was a vital part of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! during the 2020 & 2021 series at Gwrych Castle, so we’re excited to announce that he will be making a special appearance on the weekends during our Christmas Event.
"Cledwyn will be closing Ye Olde Shoppe to help the Elves in Santa’s Workshop to hand-out presents to children, whilst providing the perfect photo opportunity for fans of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!"
It added than included in a ticket to the Christmas Event, people would receive:
- Access to the Elf Academy
- Graduation Certificate
- Decorate your own Gingerbread Man
- Write A Letter to Santa
- Meet Santa Claus
- Christmas Gift
- Scavenger Hunt
- Food/Drink Stalls
Ticket holders will also have the opportunity to access the grounds, gardens, I'm a Celebrity set locations and various other rooms.
The news comes just hours after it was announced that two new wildcard celebrities would be entering the jungle to take part in the latest Bushtucker Trial - Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh. Read more on that here.
