I'm A Celebrity's Jill Scott reveals secret talent which helped her football career

I'm A Celebrity's Jill Scott has revealed she has a secret skill of ROLLERBLADING and credits it with helping her career, and believes it will help her going forward in life.

Despite the fact rollerblading could have landed the former professional footballer in trouble if she got injured, the former Lioness used it to reset in between matches and will rollerblade again soon after she leaves the jungle to help her prepare for the next chapter in her life.

She said: "My secret superpower is rollerblading. If I'd had a bad game then rollerblading kept me going. Being able to reset, get rid of those thoughts and feelings and then going into the next training day.

"That mental switch off is so important. When you're in a better mindset that's when you perform. You're ready to train and can give 100 percent.

"Rollerblading really brought out that side of me. As athletes, this, to us, is being a rebel.

"You don't realise how obsessed you are with your sport until I've stepped away and I'm like, 'Wow, I did go to bed at, like, 10 o'clock every night.'

"The only thing I didn't do right was sometimes putting these bad boys [roller skates] on. Naughty naughty."

Even if Jill is crowned Queen of the Jungle on the ITV show on Sunday, it won't be the best moment of her life, as the star has admitted nothing can top winning Euro 2022 with England earlier this summer.

Asked if rollerblading helped her win the Euros, she replied: "Yeah, you could argue that. The Euros was a really good experience.

"That final moment of the whistle going, winning the game, I don't think anything will ever match that. I go through moments where I'm like, 'Did it even happen?' Pinch yourself moments."

When she exits the jungle, Jill is hoping to find something to do that "makes her happy", and she is delighted with how women's football has progressed since she first signed for Sunderland women's team in 2004.

Speaking on Snapchat's Secret Superpowers with Tom Daley(PLS REF), she told the Olympic diver: "It's unbelievable to see the changes in the sport, 90,000 at Wembley [to watch a women's game], I never thought that would happen.

"It's important to be a role model. I just want equal opportunity sports for everyone.

"For me, the main thing is finding something that makes me happy and then rolling with it. That's why rollerblading is my secret superpower, because it's kept me going and it will keep me going."

Jill now runs a coffee shop, Boxx 2 Boxx, with her long-term partner and fiancée Shelly Unitt, who is out in Australia ready to meet her significant other when she leaves camp.
