I'm A Celebrity's Helen Flanagan has Harry Potter-themed room in family's 'forever' home

I'm A Celebrity campmate Helen Flanagan has a Harry Potter-themed room for her children to play in, she has revealed. The Corrie actress, 32, recently appeared in the first ever series of I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, in which she competed against other memorable campmates to become the first ever I'm A Celebrity Legend.

Whilst Helen left the show a couple of days before the final, which saw Myleene Klass crowned the winner, she made firm friends in South Africa. The mum-of-three became particularly close with Clifton resident Carol Vorderman and former Olympic javelin thrower Fatima Whitbread during her second time camp.

Following the conclusion of the pre-recorded series, Helen has offered a glimpse into her family home, which she shares with her three children - Matilda, Delilah and Charlie. The family moved into their "forever" home back in August 2021, when Helen and Bristol Rovers winger Scott Sinclair were still together.

In an exclusive chat with OK!, Helen revealed that she has made their home both "girly and minimalist", with hues of pink, white and grey featuring heavily throughout. Seven-year-old Matilda and four-year-old Delilah's mermaid-themed room is sure to spark envy in any youngster, as a huge mural, featuring the two sisters as mermaids, hangs above their pastel pink beds.

Meanwhile, Charlie, two, has a Gruffalo mural above his cot, as his mum revealed that he is "obsessed" with the classic Julia Donaldson character. Emphasising that she wanted her kids' rooms to be "really fun for them", Helen has reflected this in their playroom.

With a lampshade that replicates the envelope of The Boy Who Lived's Hogwarts acceptance letter hanging over the impressive room, the playroom has also had an incredible mural painted on both the ceiling and walls. As more letters fall from the night sky, a quote above the window reads "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good".

Another side of the room features a breath-taking stained glass window scene, which shows the Flying Ford Anglia hovering over the Hogwarts Express as it makes its way down the tracks, with Hedwig soaring overhead. Paintings of Golden Snitches, the Sorting Hat, owls, broomsticks and a mural of the Hogwarts logo adorn the walls, and the children can hang their coats and dressing gowns up on coat hooks with an "Invisibility Cloaks" sign above them.

The beautiful space for the children to play in was created by Liverpool-based Nikola's Murals, who often showcases her work on Instagram. According to Nikola, the magical room took "seven full days" to bring to life.

"All my kids are obsessed with Harry Potter," Helen told OK! "I think it's because I love Harry Potter."

Helen and Scott split up last year, around a year after moving into their home (PA)

Helen split from ex-fiance Scott Sinclair last summer, after 13 years together. She told OK! that she will "always love him and he'll always live me", but they "don't work any more".

The pair got engaged in 2018 and were due to tie the knot at the luxury Grantley Hall in Yorkshire before cancelling their fairy tale wedding. Helen asserted that she doesn't regret anything as she has "three perfect children" who "need happy parents and they need a happy environment".
