I'm A Celebrity's Harry Redknapp 'grossed out' as Rita Simons and Emily Atack hold 'spot picking party'

I’m A Celebrity’s Harry Redknapp was left disgusted as Rita Simons held a "spot popping party" with Emily Atack.

Simons, who played Roxy Mitchell in EastEnders, left her fellow female campmates disgusted as she popped a spot on her nose with Atack and Sair Khan watching.

She laughed in the Bush Telegraph: “God we’re disgusting aren’t we? I love popping spots. I had this one, I went no (makes squeezing noise), done it, clear.

“The others were just as enthusiastic as me, I think loads of girls love spot popping, I don’t know why that is, but we do.”

Atack then picked a spot on East's forehead while Simons popped on on Sair's face as they continued their beauty regime - much to Redknapp's disgust.

East said to camera: “It killed, I thought the bites from the green ants were painful but that was a killer. If I get another spot I’m gonna have to hide it with my hair because Rita is gonna be coming for me,” she joked.

But Redknapp rushed to the Bush Telegraph after being "grossed out" by what he was watching.

He said: "I did find the spot popping a bit gross, you know, they were all getting round like it was a spot popping party.

"It’s a bit unusual you know, Rita don’t care, she don’t give a monkeys."

Elsewhere, East embraced her new role in camp as she scolded Redknapp for a messy bed when “power went to her head”.

The X Factor runner-up was assigned to camp maintenance, alongside Malique Thompson-Dwyer, by new camp leader James McVey.

The Vamps singer was crowned new camp leader with three votes, taking over from Nick Knowles, and quickly appointed Simons as his deputy before delegating jobs.

East’s power was well received by her as she vowed to keep the “messy little monkeys” in check, first telling Harry Redknapp to tidy leaves by his bed.

East joked: “Now that I am on camp maintenance I’m going to make sure those messy little monkeys are clearing up.”

At the beginning of the episode, a shocked camp came to terms with losing a member of their team after Noel Edmonds was sent packing by the public.

On Friday, the Deal or No Deal presenter was booted in the first live eviction. He admitted he was “disappointed” to be out first .
