Last year's I'm A Celebrity winner Danny Miller has broken his silence to congratulate Jill Scott after his absence in the finale raised questions from fans.
Many viewers were quick to question why the Emmerdale star did not make the journey to Australia to appear in Sunday's finale and continue the tradition of handing over the jungle crown to Jill, with Mike Tindall crowning Jill instead. "Hold on, where is Danny?" one person asked on social media.
"Why didn't Danny Miller crown Jill?" another viewer questioned. However, others pointed out that the most recent King or Queen of the jungle has not crowned the new winner since the 2017 series, where Scarlett Moffatt handed over the crown and staff to Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo.

Danny himself was handed the iconic flower crown by fellow campmate Frankie Bridge, while 2020 winner Giovanna Fletcher was crowned by campmate Vernon Kay in the two series that took place in Wales. Back before Covid travel restrictions, 2019 winner Jaqueline Jossa was crowned in Australia by former finalists and Extra Camp presenters Adam Thomas, Emily Atack and Joel Dommett, and the year before that in 2018 Harry Redknapp was crowned by former winners Scarlett Moffatt and Joe Swash.
It's thought that the winners may have travelled Down Under in previous years in order to film for the ITV2 spin-offs Get Me Out Of Here Now and Extra Camp, but since this was axed in 2019 it may not be worth making the huge journey to Australia for a very brief appearance. And there certainly appeared to be no bad blood from Danny as he broke his silence on Jill's win in a sweet message for the Lioness.
"Deserved winner!" Danny tweeted, tagging the new Queen of the Jungle. "A pleasure to hand over the crown to you! Enjoy it!" Earlier on in the series the actor admitted that he was "jealous" to be watching the jungle action from home this year and was quick to share his predictions over who might make it to the final including Jill, Seann Walsh and Babatunde Aleshe.
But there was one aspect of this year's series - or rather, one particular campmate - that Danny appeared to be less than pleased about. Tweeting on Saturday night as a certain former Health Secretary made it to the final, he wrote: " Matt Hancock in the final three sums this series up. Deep breath, regroup and we'll see you back in Wales next year yeah?"
