I'm A Celebrity's Chris Moyles, Sue Cleaver and Boy George shed stones in weight ditching certain foods

Stars of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! have been speaking about their amazing loss of weight. Boy George, Chris Moyles and Sue Cleaver have all been revealing in the jungle details about the dramatic improvements in their bodies.

Radio and TV presenter Chris said that he had weighed 18.2 stone (115kg) at his heaviest but has since managed to shed an incredible 6st (38kg), reports Wales Online. When asked by Loose Women's Charlene White, the 48-year-old explained that he managed to turn his whole life around.

Chris said: “I once bought a microwavable kebab. From what I remember it tasted alright. But back then I was eating all sorts of crap. I didn’t necessarily eat a lot but what I did eat was all bad. All bad.”

The DJ went on to explain how he managed to keep motivated throughout his journey. "A mixture of things. I climbed Kili [Mount Kilimanjaro in 2009]. I was 17.5st (111kg) at Christmas and we were climbing in March. I got down to 16 [before we went]. Climbed Kili and lost a stone in a week.

"I sat at 15 [stone] for ages and I had a trainer, and one day I just went, 'It’s a waste of time this training, I’m not losing any weight' and he just barked at me, 'That’s because your diet’s s***!' So we had a big chat… I fell down to 12 stone really quickly. 10 years ago [that was]."

Sue, who plays Eileen Grimshaw in popular soap Coronation Street, has wowed fans in recent years with her weight loss, reported Wales Online. The actress, who has appeared on the cobbles for over 20 years, dropped an unbelievable three stone - and four dress sizes - by cutting out three foods from her diet and adopting a new lifestyle.

The complete lifestyle overhaul came after the Corrie star, who has type 2 diabetes - which, viewers speculate, has meant she has been exempt from a number of trials on the jungle-based show - collapsed on the set of the Weatherfield show back in 2011 after suffering an attack brought on by the condition.

Swapping out food with a high sugar content, upping her exercise regime and adhering to a diet loved by many stars - the mediterranean diet - the 59-year-old has since gone from a size 16 to size 12, shedding three stone (19kg).

The Mediterranean diet is high in vegetables, fruits, legumes, nuts, beans, cereals, grains, fish and sees people consuming foods with unsaturated fats in such as olive oil and avocado and usually includes a low intake of meat and dairy foods. Following a diet such as this can also help lower cholesterol and high blood pressure.

George has hit the headlines due to his sparky nature towards a number of his fellow campmates, including Matt Hancock and Scarlette Douglas. But while the pop icon's dramatic outbursts are remaining the talk of the TV town, fans have marvelled at the Karma Chameleon hitmaker's slimmer look.

The Culture Club star - who viewers regularly see starting his mornings in the jungle with a spot of meditation, chanting and yoga - weighed in at nearly 19st (120kg) at his heaviest but has managed to shed a whopping 6st (40kg) in the past few years - and has maintained it by snacking on one particular food item.

It seems that almonds have had a big part to play in his health journey. While filming for The Voice, he snacked on them regularly to maintain his frame, reports the Daily Mail. According to Healthline, these nuts are not only "a good source of healthy fat, protein, fibre and several vitamins and minerals, but they may also reduce heart disease risk factors like elevated LDL (bad) cholesterol and excess belly fat."

It was also said that he had cut back on carbohydrates, sugar and dairy in his meals - which he eats at "regular times" - and cooks himself. A vegetarian, he explained: "I cook everything myself and I don't buy anything that's in a packet. Eating out becomes a bit difficult. But you just have to ask if they use sugar in a dish – and you'd be surprised how much gets put in."

He added: 'You have a five-hour gap between meals, no coffee or herbal teas in between, just still or fizzy water. Once you start doing it and your body is getting the food it needs, you don't get those horrible hunger pangs."
