I'm A Celebrity's Chris Moyles says show is 'one long painful embarrassment' for him

I'm A Celebrity star Chris Moyles has said the show has been "embarrassing" for him, after a series of fails.

From struggling in trials and only bringing back one star, to getting questions wrong repeatedly in the challenges, Chris hasn't had the easiest of rides.

Viewers saw him hit out at his campmates this week, after he offered to do a trial only to be excluded by others.

In the latest episode on Wednesday night, Chris once again volunteered while he clearly wasn't keen - before Jill Scott took it on instead.

Later in the show, it was time for the camp to answer the latest Deals On Wheels quesrion, with Mike Tindall and Matt Hancock taking part.

After the challenge, the camp were asked how much the titles of Adele’s albums would add up to.

Being the radio star, campmates immediately looked to Chris for the answer which was either A: 70 B: 94 or C: 95.

Chris said it was 70 which was incorrect and they lost the treat, leaving evryone gutted.

Returning to camp empty handed, Mike said: "You telling me Moyles doesn’t know the names of her albums?" and Chris said back: "I’m not Adele!"

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, a deflated Chris said: "I’m clearly of no use to anyone here. This is just one long painful embarrassment for me."

It followed the fourth eviction on Tuesday evening, with Boy George leaving the show.

Just days before the live final, scheduled to air this coming Sunday, the campmates waved goodbye to another star - with seven of them now remaining in camp.

Boy George cheered as his time on the show came to an end, before he hugged it out with his co-stars.

The singer confessed he was glad he left when he did, but insisted he had an "amazing time" down in camp.

George did admit to "dipping" mentally and having moments of wanting to leave, before going on to call for Mike Tindall to win the show.

The campmate said: "I had to forget who I was for the whole time I was in there. I just had to let go. I'm happy to go today."

George's exit came as Sue Cleaver became the third campmate to be voted out of the jungle on Monday night.

The Coronation Street star confessed she'd "had enough" and it was her time to leave, as she screamed with excitement when her name was called.

This followed TV presenter Scarlette Douglas breaking down in tears on Sunday, as she was second to be booted out of the jungle.

As she joined hosts Ant and Dec, she admitted she was gutted to be leaving so soon, as others were keen to go.

Meanwhile, the first elimination of the series saw Charlene White first to go on Friday night.

Following her exit, Charlene explained how Hancock going into the jungle ruined it for her - as she was always concerned about her impartiality as a journalist as that is her primary job.

I'm A Celebrity airs every night at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
