I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Chris Moyles has revealed he is ‘petrified’ about appearing on this year’s show.
The radio star recorded a secret message for his listeners before flying out to Australia last week.
The clip – played during The Chris Moyles show this morning - was also the moment he broke the news to the rest of his Radio X team, Dominic Byrne, Pippa Taylor and James Robinson.
Teasing his announcement before flying to Australia, the DJ said: “We can play a little game, or I can just tell you. It’s up to you..."
Opting to play a guessing game, the trio quizzed Chris on what his big surprise could be.

But they were shocked when he started playing the ITV ’s show famous theme tune, revealing the news.
With the cat out the bag, Chris admitted: “I’m terrified.”
He added: “And I’m very emotional by your reaction, because now it feels real. Nobody, literally nobody knows.
“I’ve spoken to my parents about it. I haven’t told my best friends. Nothing. No one knows apart from literally a few handful of people who have to know.”
The 48-year-old went on to say he was “genuinely, genuinely petrified” – not least because he has a huge fear of heights.
“You know that thing that you should do things that scare you? Yes, I’m really not a believer in that,” he said. I believe in comfort zone. Stay in it. Why go out of it?
Revealing his biggest fear about going into the jungle, he said: “Your entry in from past shows is either jump out of a helicopter or do the plank on the high building which wobbles in the wind – and that absolutely petrifies me.”
The clip was played on air by Toby Tarrant this morning, who is stepping in for Chris while he is on I’m A Celeb.
It comes after Chris revealed he is not the megamouth DJ the public think he is in real life.
He said: “Contrary to popular belief, I won’t be the loudest person in the camp.
“My radio show is a very turned up version of me and people will get to see a much quieter Chris Moyles!
“If people are expecting what they hear on the radio, then they had better prepare themselves for a much quieter, sensitive Christopher Moyles.”
Chris was the first star to be announced for this year's I'm A Celebrity line-up.
Other big names include Boy George, Mike Tindall, Charlene White, Olivia Attwood, and Corrie's Sue Cleaver. While politician Matt Hancock and comedian Seann Walsh are thought to be late additions to the show.
