Boy George was inspired to get a hair transplant after seeing what the pricey procedure did for Wayne Rooney.
The now-retired England legend spent £30,000 after going bald in his 20s.
Hat-wearing pop star George, 61, stunned camp-mates on I'm A Celebrity ...Get Me Out Of Here! after explaining none of his hair is real.
He then told former England footballer Jill Scott and comedian Seann Walsh all about the inspiration behind his big decision.
He says he felt he had to tackle his receding hairline and says he had no regrets at all.
"My hair is a transplant," he them. "From where?" asked Lioness Jill.
George laughed: "From the transplant shop!"
Jill told him that it was "amazing" as he added: "I was bald.
"Do you know what made me do it?" Wayne Rooney."
Seann burst out laughing before the Culture Club star said. "Why do you think that's funny? that's the truth.
"I saw Wayne Rooney's hair and I thought 'I can actually get my hair long.'"
Seann told him: "It's great, like you're rebuilding yourself" before George joked: "I am Darth Vader!"
Back in 2011, former Manchester United scoring sensational Wayne revealed that he'd had a hair transplant at 25.
He wrote on Twitter : "Just to confirm to all my followers I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25 why not. I'm delighted with the result.
"It's still a bit bruised and swollen when it dies down u will be first to see it. Anyone recommend any good hair gel. Haha. I had it done in Harley street hair clinic London. Thanks to all the staff who looked after me."
And his wife Coleen insisted that she had not made him have the transplant. She wrote: "Hiya!! Yes waynes had his hair done! His own decision not me asking him, like alot are saying!! Pleased for him and it will look great x"
In 2013, the now football manager returned to the Harley Street Hair Clinic for a second procedure.
