Owen Warner looks a dead cert to be a contestant on this year's I'm A Celebrity, after the Hollyoaks star landed in Australia on Wednesday.
Actors from the Channel 4 soap, which turned 25 in 2020, have done rather well in the jungle over the years, with Owen set to follow in footsteps of the likes of Stuart Manning, Jorgie Porter and Malique Thompson-Dwyer, who have all been previous campmates.
His place in the new I'm A Celebrity line-up looks like being a given after Owen was photographed at Brisbane Airport mid-morning UK time on Wednesday. The young star, known to soap fans as Romeo in Hollyoaks, is said to be very excited about the prospect of being on the show. A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Owen is so excited to be in the mix. He’s never done anything like this, and it would catapult his profile to a new level.

"His abs are on-point so he wouldn’t be shy about showing off his bod.”
Owen enjoyed a brief romance with Chloe Ferry in the summer of 2021, as he holidayed in the same Portugese resort as Chloe and her Geordie Shore co-stars Bethan Kershaw, Abbie Holborn and Sophie Kasaei
Chloe took to Instagram to share a picture of her and Owen on a sun lounger in their resort, with the telling caption: "Now I no (sic) what love feels like"
Owen also mentioned Chloe, 25, on his own Instagram story and she later said from her hotel room: "I've been on my own for a very long time now.
"We've just kept it a secret because I feel like when it's in the public eye, it just always f***ing doesn't go right. He's way too good for us"
