I'm A Celebrity VIPs take on first trial of the series

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! VIPs will be taking on the first trial of the series tonight.

ITV bosses have released a sneak peek of the trail which show Chris Moyles and Boy George laying in some sort of tomb which slowly fills with water, while Oliva Attwood and Scarlette Douglas dip their hands into a tank of worms as they frantically try to find stars and turn the water off.

Ten celebrities entered the Australian jungle during Sunday nights episode, as the hit TV show returned Down Under for the first time since 2019.

Since tonight's programme was filmed, Olivia Attwood has left the jungle due to medical reason, but no other details have been released.

The 31-year-old has been removed from the camp as a precautionary measure, according to a spokesperson for the show.

Last night, viewers spotted contestants making "big mistakes" moments into the show.

As each celebrity was introduced, the contestants explained their reasons for doing the show and viewers were left shaking their head within minutes. Babatúndé confessed he was scared of "everything" including rats, spiders, snakes and frogs, and Charlene shared her fear of spiders, reports the Mirror.

Fans couldn't believe the stars were revealing their phobias on camera, knowing it means they will likely be voted by the public for the Bushtucker trials.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2022 continues tonight at 9pm on STV and STV Player.
