I'm a Celebrity first campmates confirmed as Chris Moyles and Olivia Attwood land in Australia

The 2022 edition of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! is set to air in a mere matter of weeks, with two stars already being 'confirmed' to be taking part today.

Radio host Chris Moyles landed Down Under first, well ahead of the mandatory isolation period that camp hopefuls must endure before heading into the Australian jungle.

The 48-year-old sported a black baseball cap, navy jacket and shades as he made his way through Brisbane Airport, reports The Daily Star.

When asked if he was looking forward to spending time in Australia, Chris said: "It should be nice, fingers crossed anyway."

Quizzed if he was scared of snakes and spiders, he joked: "There's lots of everything in this country, like sport and beer and I am not scared of sport of beer. So I think I will be alright."

Addressing what those close to him think about his decision to go on the show, he explained: "I have absolutely no idea what my family and friends would think of me doing a show like I'm A Celebrity. I have never asked them. But I think they would be much more nervous about me doing Antiques Roadshow."

Olivia Attwood then made further waves by landing at the exact same airport just hours later. The former Love Island star will be the first Islander to ever appear on the show itself, breaking the previous ban on those who have previously tried to find love in the villa entering the hit jungle-based show.

Speaking as she arrived in Australia, Olivia admitted she will missed her footballer fiancé Bradley Dack during her time in the jungle, and confessed she's worried about how her other campmates will tolerate her.

"I am scared of me, in terms of how long the other campmates can tolerate me. I will get myself in trouble somehow, the usual," the star confessed at the airport, adding: "I haven't packed very many bikinis, we are not allowed very many."

The reality TV star, 31, became one of the most recognisable faces from the popular dating series after her time in the Majorcan villa in series three. She was paired with Chris Hughes, 29, in the third season, but the pair's explosive coupling wasn't to be.

She has since featured on TOWIE and hosted her own documentary titled Getting Filthy Rich, which focused on the sex industry.

Both stars have arrived around 10 days before the start of the series, which is much earlier than usual in order to avoid campmates catching Covid.

I'm A Celebrity is set to return on ITV on Sunday November 6, a week earlier than normal to avoid clashing too much with the World Cup which kicks off on November 21.
